Cheek lifting, jawline definition and chin augmentation using dermal filler — for faces that look refreshed and balanced, not altered.
Face contouring uses dermal filler to restore or enhance the structural framework of the face — the cheekbones, jawline, and chin. These are the features that create what we call facial balance: the proportions that make a face look healthy, defined and harmonious.
As we age, we lose bone and fat volume in key areas of the face. This is what causes the cheeks to flatten, the jowls to develop, and the jawline to soften. Structural filler can address all of these changes in a way that looks entirely natural, because it's simply replacing what was there before.
Helen approaches contouring with an anatomist's eye and a sculptor's instinct. The goal is never to create a different face — it's to make your face look like itself again.
Helen assesses your facial structure, discusses your concerns, and maps out a treatment plan. Photography is taken for reference.
Topical anaesthetic cream and/or dental block depending on the area treated, to ensure full comfort throughout.
Precise filler placement using both fine needles and blunt-tip cannulas depending on the anatomy and area. Typically 45–60 minutes.
A review appointment to assess the result at rest and in motion, and to decide together whether any refinements are needed.
Helen is a registered dental hygienist with over thirteen years of clinical experience. She completed advanced aesthetics training before founding her studio in Coalville — bringing a level of clinical rigour that most aesthetics clinics simply cannot offer.
Every patient receives a thorough consultation, a medical history review, and honest guidance. Helen will only proceed if she believes the treatment is genuinely right for you. Consultations are £50.
Structural filler targets the deep facial framework — the bones and fat pads — rather than the superficial soft tissue. It requires a deeper understanding of facial anatomy and is placed at a deeper level. This is one of the most technically demanding areas of aesthetics, which is why medical training matters.
Structural filler in the cheeks and jawline typically lasts longer than filler in mobile areas like the lips — often twelve to eighteen months, sometimes longer. The exact duration depends on the area, the product used and your individual metabolism.
Done well, structural filler should be entirely undetectable. Your friends may simply notice you look well — more defined, more rested. The goal is never a look that signals treatment.
Some swelling and occasional bruising is normal, particularly around the cheeks and jaw. This typically resolves within three to seven days. Helen will discuss what to expect in detail at your consultation.
This varies considerably by individual. Helen will advise at consultation based on your anatomy and goals. Most structural treatments use 1–2ml of product, but the precise amount is always tailored to the person.
